Introduction to Zips! – Purse/Phone Case
3rd October 6.30-8.30pm

An introduction to Zips! … in this workshop you will choose from oilcloth or cotton fabric & sew a zip into a purse or case for your phone! … this will also have a handy key ring attachment too so you will never forget your phone, keys & money again! This is one of a series of short workshops I will be doing! … & Sew Dotty will be demonstrating how to make this purse at the start of the workshop! … I need visual to learn! Do you too?
£20 – all fabrics and materials needed provided by Sew Dotty oh plus tea and homemade cake too of course!

Double-Sided Lampshade Making
6th October 6.30-9pm

Double sided shades are twice as lovely as normal shades with fabric on the outside & inside too!
These look fab as a centrepiece in a room or above a dining table too! .. & they add interest to table lamps & standard lamps!
At this workshop you will receive step by step help to roll your lampshade!
30cm size – £35
40cm size – £40

All lampshade materials will be provided you will just need to bring a small amount of your chosen fabric – (half a meter is plenty!) … or if you want me to order a particular fabric in for you I am happy to do this! … There will be tea & yummy homemade cake plus plenty of support from Sew Dotty too!

 

Oh Sew Rosy! Ric-Rac Edged Cushion
with Ric-Rac Rose!

Sew with Dotty & make this pretty ric-rac edged cushion. You will also make an oh sew Rosy! … Ric-Rac Rose too! … use this as an accessory on your cushion … coat or bag!
In this workshop you will learn how to cut from a pattern … how to apply the edging & how to make the rose too! … Sew Dotty will be demonstrating how to sew these at the start of the workshop! … learning is a visual thing!
I have plenty of Dotty fabrics in lots of colours or you can bring your own fabric (half a meter will be plenty!) … I will supply everything else you need along with step by step help, demos & plenty of tea & cake too of course!

Oilcloth Shopper Tote Bag
12th October 6.30-9pm

Sew with Dotty & make a durable and water resistant oilcloth bag … perfect for the winter months ahead!
This bag is really roomy with a comfortable shoulder strap too! …. You will learn how to sew with oilcloth (adjusting your machine, presser foot etc) at this workshop … plus making a boxed bag & using magnetic poppers too!
You will need to bring 3/4 meter of oilcloth for this workshop – I can help you with online details of where to buy! … and again happy to order this in for you. Sew Dotty will provide everything else and I have sewing machines ready to go too!£38

 

Zipped Pocket Messenger Bag
14th October 10am-1pm

Sew with Dotty and learn how to inset a zipped pocket into a messenger bag. At this workshop you will learn to cut from a pattern, inset a deep zipped pocket, box the corners of the bag to add dimension, apply magnetic poppers, top stitch & learn how to apply D rings & strap slides to make an adjustable strap to your bag! … sew you can use this as a shoulder bag or across the body Messenger too!
Sew Dotty will provide a demo to show how to inset zips! … learning is a visual thing! … as well as step by step help throughout the workshop too! Oh and how could I forget! … tea & homemade cake included too! £42 – your chosen fabric will need to be brought along with you … but Sew Dotty will be providing all the other materials you will need! I am happy to order a particular fabric for you ahead of the workshop – sew just ask!
